The Prince William County Park Authority maintains a number of parks to serve the community. Out of all community parks, Veterans Park, Locust Shade, and Lake Ridge Golf & Marina standout.

Locust Shade park:
Locust Shade Park is known for its scenic beauty. Locust Shade Park consists of Golf Driving Range, Mini-Golf Course, Boats, Batting Cage, and Playgrounds. There are eight picnic pavilions in the park that may be reserved for a fee or are available first-come, first serve if not rented and can easily accommodate groups up to 300 people. There is a 1.5-mile south loop trail, .6-mile fitness trail loop and connector trails around the lake and between trails.

Veterans Park:
Veterans Park consists of Skateboard Facility, A 50 Meter Outdoors Swimming Pool 50-meter outdoor pool with 2 water slides, Community Center offering dance, karate, summer camps for kids and a gymnasium for sports team rentals. Located in Veteran's Park, the unique facility features 7,200 square feet of bumps, moguls, a half-pipe which is 12' X 50' and l800 square feet of smooth surfaces with sidewalk and street features. Picnic Areas include one large pavilion and a small pavilion with tent facilities.

Lake Ridge Golf & Marina:
Lake Ridge Golf & marina is The Home Of The “First Tee Program” For Children. The Park is Equipped with boating, fishing, 9 holes round of golf and a children miniature golf. One of the park's finest features is the challenging 9-hole, par-3 course designed for novice golfers. Lake Ridge Golf Course hosts golf tournaments and lessons, junior and senior citizen rates, a Ladies League as well as Golf Camps.
