Colleges include Stratford College/Woodbridge Campus, Stratford College/Woodbridge Campus, Northern Virginia Community College/Manassas, Northern Virginia Community College/Woodbridge and Strayer University. Most prestigious of all colleges are George Mason University and Strayer College.

George Mason University, George mason Campus:
The 124-acre site of the Prince William Campus was donated by Prince William County and local individuals. This campus, located in Manassas, is the third George Mason campus in Northern Virginia. George Mason's other campuses are located in Arlington and Fairfax. The Prince William Campus is an integral part of George Mason's distributed University. The 124-acre campus serves all of Northern Virginia and provides convenient access to the university for citizens of Prince William. This campus is high-tech/bio-tech and emphasizes bioinformatics, biotechnology, forensic biosciences educational and research programs in addition to computer and information technology.

Strayer College, Potomac Mills Campus:
Strayer college has 29 campuses in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington, D.C., as well as online. College offers degrees in information technology, accounting and business including studies in humanities, mathematics, history, government and other courses.
